The Cowansville Regional Ecocentre is open free of charge from Monday to Saturday throughout the year.

Building materials
It is forbidden to dispose of building materials in household garbage. Some of these materials are collected free of charge at the Ecocentres.

Dead leaves and cut grass (Herbicycling)
You can bring your dead leaves to the Brome-Missisquoi Intertermunicipal Solid Waste Disposal Authority (R.I.E.D.S.B.M.). You can also decide to herbicycler, which is the action of leaving the grass cut on the ground when mowing.

Compostable materials
Compostable materials include table waste and garden waste. This category of material accounts for almost 60% of buried residential materials. That’s why it’s important to put together various programs to enhance them rather than bury them.
