The roles and responsibilities of the City Council
The city council represents the municipality and makes administrative decisions on the direction and priorities of action of the Municipality. The city council is made up of one mayor and six councillors. The administration of the municipality is governed by administrative rules clearly defined in the law. Elected officials can only manage their municipality in accordance with these rules, unlike the private company, which can set them at its convenience, according to the management methods it deems appropriate.
The Council makes decisions in the form of resolutions during public council meetings.
